Mission
Hancock Academy collaborates with Corporations, Contractors, Developers and Vocational schools to support a new generation of skilled tradespeople. Our mission is to empower the workforce and promote a vibrant economy and sustainable environment.
Opportunities for the next Generation
We’re creating and utilizing relationships with corporations to supply surplus goods, grants and donations to be converted into funding programs for tradespeople. We will enrich career paths, assist and collaborate with communities, optimize skillsets by creating opportunity for the next generation of individuals that enter the trades industry.
A Cycle of Sustainability
For every 3 seasoned veteran tradespeople that retires, only 1 student is stepping up to replace them. We believe that using surplus capital goods from diversified contracting corporations will allow us to create a cycle of sustainability - enhancing society socially, economically and environmentally.
We will be launching pilot programs and assist already established programs within the industry. Our initial efforts will be New England based.
We are seeking contributions in any form - grants, annual donations or surplus goods.

Benefiting the Community
Small businesses and tradesmen are the lifeline of our communities. We are facing the greatest shortage of qualified tradesmen that the industry has ever seen. With the average age of a tradesman being 54 years old, we are quickly approaching a crippling loss. We’re empowering the next generation of local people by introducing and mentoring them in the trades.
Equality in the construction industry is also one of our top priorities. Our hope is to be inclusive and to partner with minority and woman owned businesses within our community.
